Our Penthouse Condo
Brian has to go to Manila for a few days. I will be alone with the kids for the first time in our new place. We knew that this would be part of it. Quite honestly a little trip to Manila might do Brian some good. He works the night shift because that's when they do training so he's gone from 10PM til 6-7AM. He might actually get to sleep at night while he's in Manila.
Our house in Kentucky is still on the market, going on 3 months. We have had several people come and look at it and have had a few 2nd showings, but still no offers. We've even started lowing the price, which hurts since we were asking less than what it was worth to begin with. We'll be glad to get rid of it and be able to put that money to other uses.
Our new condo doesn't feel like home yet since we haven't shipped our belongings over. It is partially furnished so we have 2 frying pans, 1 pot, 2 queen size beds, a bunk bed, some couches, a dining room table and chairs, a lamp, a table for a computer, a TV, a few dressers and a vanity. We are living off of what we packed in our airline luggage. We brought enough to get by but trying to cook for the first time was pretty rough. I bought some carrots and cucumber but didn't think about how I was going to peel and cut them. Needless to say we had to get a few things from the store.
Over all it's been a unique experience and we are finally getting settled in. I'll add some more info later when Brian get's back from Manila. Until then! Enjoy the pictures.

Kitchen
Dining Room
Living room doors open up to a balcony.
Our office until we get the rest of our gear.
This fireplace keeps us warm! It helps take the moisture out of the air too!
Olivia has been making really funny faces lately, it's great!
This will be the kids play area when we get some organizers for toys.
We moved the bunkbeds from the "hired help" bedroom into Gavin's room for him to use. We are going to use the hired help bedroom as a pantry, since we will not have anyone living with us.
This will be our office and guest bedroom, eventually.
